Feyen Zylstra was proud to deliver a comprehensive structured cabling solution for Calvin University’s Hekman Library renovation. The project involved a complete overhaul of the voice, data, and fiber optic infrastructure to support the library’s growing technological demands.

Our scope of work included installing structured cabling to support the library’s voice and data systems, enhancing its communication capabilities. We completed full buildouts of the Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) closets and installed fiber optic cabling to connect them. Additionally, we removed and reinstalled over 40 wireless access points, ensuring reliable Wi-Fi coverage and capacity for Calvin’s students, faculty, and staff. Our work also included pulling and terminating cabling to support security camera systems, wireless access points, and an updated DAS system.
