For the past 50 years, Duo-Form has been at the forefront of the industry, delivering high-quality, sustainable, and long-lasting thermoform products to their customers. To enhance their lean manufacturing environment, they sought to consolidate their thermoforming equipment into a single facility. For this ambitious 40,000 square foot expansion, they chose FZ as their trusted electrical partner.

FZ’s scope of work included providing the lighting, lighting controls, power, fire alarm, voice data systems, and the service and electrical drops for the new equipment. As a Design Build partner, our team played an instrumental role in the design phase of the project, providing critical input and electrical expertise that helped the project run smoothly. Relying on heavy planning and coordination, our team developed a phased approach that allowed for seamless integration of the plant addition, while maintaining the functionality and operations of the existing plant.

With a focus on safety and efficiency, we completed the project on time and within budget, enhancing the plant’s capabilities while upholding its commitment to uninterrupted production. Owing to this, FZ has continued in a service capacity, providing Duo-Form with a new medium voltage service, transformer, meter, and power to new manufacturing equipment.
