Preventative Maintenance Services

Much like Feyen Zylstra, our customer, a nationally recognized beverage manufacturer, first established its roots in West Michigan. FZ serves the manufacturer as their trusted electrical and industrial technology partner. For many years, our team has been providing ongoing preventative maintenance services for their 140,000 square foot, fully automated manufacturing and distribution facility in Sparta, MI.

In order to keep our customer’s facility running in optimal condition, FZ regularly performs preventative maintenance measures on the production equipment’s electrical components. Our team also executes an annual IR thermography scan on their equipment using a thermal imager to detect infrared energy. This allows hot spots, poor connections, or electrical overloads to be detected and fixed quickly, thereby eliminating unplanned downtime. With production downtime costing the customer an estimated $5,000 to $200,000 per incident, this is a critical factor in the importance of preventative maintenance measures.
