As a leading expanded polystyrene manufacturer, Harbor Foam produces the highest quality EPS with state-of-the-art equipment. As a family-owned company, Harbor Foam has been serving the packaging, recreational vehicle, and construction industries for over four generations.

Feyen Zylstra partnered with Harbor Foam on their new 71,000 square foot building addition and facility renovation. This two-phase project includes a two-story building addition that houses an office space, a shipping and receiving office, a fire pump, and loading decks. During the first phase, we will be relocating the existing manufacturing equipment into the new addition, with the former space being converted to storage. The second project phase includes converting a former leased space into a manufacturing floor thereby doubling Harbor Foam’s production capacity and bring new jobs to the area. As a Design Build partner, FZ has already provided valuable design input to ensure that the electrical and customer needs are met.

In both project phases, FZ is providing the power, lighting, machine connections, fiber, and CAT 6 cabling. Our team will also be relocating the communications closet and installing a backup generator for the manufacturing floor.

Currently, we are roughing in the power and lighting within the new addition.
