The JW Marriott - Grand Rapids is a 23-story, high-performance luxury hotel meticulously designed for both business and pleasure. Feyen Zylstra was responsible for the “backbone and the brains” of this amazing landmark. FZ installed the key components and systems for the building at the foundation and lower public levels. Beyond the usual wireless internet and communications, the hotel’s upscale amenities required extra capacity. Voice-data systems were framed into the concrete structure of the hotel, with access points on each floor.
