When the Protestant Reformed Seminary needed help updating their antiquated AV system, they turned to Feyen Zylstra for expertise and guidance.

The project started with a meeting between FZ and Protestant Reformed Seminary to understand AV expectations and needs. In an effort to modernize the space, the plan was to equip all of the shared meeting spaces with interactive video and information sharing technology. From there we were able to recommend solutions that would fit PRC Seminary's budget while also achieving the desired functionality of the space.

Our team provided new displays, document cameras, and Barco Clickshares in each of five classrooms as well as in a large Seminary Room. The Barco Clickshare allows anyone to quickly and easily share information wirelessly via a phone or laptop while the document camera allows information to be shared via paper or books.

Since simplicity and accessibility were of the utmost importance for Protestant Reformed Seminary, we specially trained their team on how to use the technology so that they were confident moving forward.

"FZ recently performed a tech upgrade in our seminary, and from start to finish the process was smooth and the service was professional. The FZ team provided good advice in our initial meeting as we talked through our needs for the project. In the end we decided on using Elmo document cameras and new monitors in our classrooms and multi-purpose room, and they are proving to be just what we needed. We also purchased a new video-conferencing device called Owl and it is amazing - both from a video and microphone aspect! Because we had some concerns around using the device, FZ sent out one of their technicians to talk us through the set up to ensure we were comfortable using it.
