Our team provided the electrical up-fit for the remodeling of the Renaissance Hotel, located in Charleston’s downtown historic district. This six story, 218,000 square foot landmark hosts thousands of guests a year and represents southern charm and class. Our team provided the electrical renovation for 166 guest rooms, the first-floor public restrooms, and the main lobby. Aesthetic updates for the facility included new chandeliers, unique accent lighting, and an electric fireplace.

Working in a curb-to-curb, fully-functional facility posed some unique challenges for the project. Our team worked closely with hotel maintenance staff and the general contractor to fix preexisting electrical issues while tactfully scheduling electrical demolition to not disturb the hotel guests. The tight schedule compressed the project’s noisy activities into six hour days and allowed our team two days for the complete demolition of each floor.
