Start Garden is focused on providing ideas, spaces, and venture capital for small businesses and start-ups. In order to be in the heart of Grand Rapids, Start Garden chose to renovate 14,223 square feet of a historic building for their headquarters. Complete with office spaces, meeting and collaboration rooms, a cafe, and large meeting spots, the building will provide the space needed to extend Start Garden’s reach. FZ worked closely with the owner and architects to ensure that the lighting concept and design complemented the historic building’s features.
