Vanderbilt University Garland Hall
Historic Electrical Renovation and Expansion
When the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University wanted to renovate and expand Garland Hall, they needed a partner who could enhance the facility’s functionality without comprising its historic beauty. Feyen Zylstra’s creativity, ingenuity, and expertise made them the perfect choice.
Originally built in 1928, Garland Hall’s historic and classic beauty is a cornerstone of Vanderbilt’s campus. The project hopes to seamlessly build on its architectural character through a new addition and a complete interior renovation. The transformed facility will house a combination of teaching, research, collaboration gathering spaces, and offices for faculty and students to enjoy.
Feyen Zylstra is responsible for the complete electrical package, including electrical distribution for the low and medium voltage systems and the electrical build out for both the new and existing structures. Our team will also be providing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and detailing on the project to increase visibility and avoid issues.
