As the parent company for Tommy Car Wash Systems, Tommy’s Express, and Quality Car Wash, VisionQuest was looking to establish a national headquarters to oversee its operations. Located in Holland, MI, the new VisionQuest headquarters boasts over 75,000 square feet of office space and approximately 200,000 square feet of industrial space.

As the Design Build electrical partner, FZ worked closely with the owner and project team to design and install electrical systems that were cost-effective, robust, and allowed for future expansion of electrical distribution. Our scope of work included the electrical, systems integration for fire alarm installation, security rough-in, data rough-in, low voltage systems rough-in, and AV sound masking.

The owners were hands-on during the design process and incorporated many high-end fixtures and finishes that replicate the styling of Tommy’s Express Car Wash. To achieve the owner’s vision, we coordinated our scope of work with other trades to increase quality control, reduce schedule time, decrease labor costs, and minimize onsite safety risk. Our team created renderings that ensured the complex installation of cantilevered fixtures and finishes were installed correctly and efficiently. Prefabricated lighting control kits were developed for each individual room and included detailed installation plans to increase efficiency and prevent errors.
