FZ’s Design Services expertise came in handy at Whirlpool’s new Corporate Headquarters campus located in Benton Harbor, MI. Feyen Zylstra completed the electrical construction for two three-floor office wings and the amenities building. The work was extensive, spanning multiple meeting rooms, work stations, offices, a show room, and a collaborative common work space.

Work included bringing primary power into the building, installing LED lights throughout the campus, and setting up a Lutron Dimming System with day light dimming features to help improve energy efficiency. In addition to the internal lighting, external courtyard lighting and parking lot lighting systems were installed.

Feyen Zylstra’s work directly impacted Whirlpool’s ability to receive the LEED Platinum certification.
