Derek lives out FZ’s mission to positively impact people. As Director of Sales & Operations, he creates an environment that exceeds client experience with unmatched service from a diverse FZ team of varied skills and talents. As a board member for the local Boys & Girls Club of Grand Rapids since 2011, Derek is known for his dedication to not only making an impact – but measuring it in the lives of local youth. Derek is a Calvin University graduate with a BA in Religion & Theology. His home life is busy cheering on six active children with his wife; in his limited free time he enjoys working out, reading, and spending time backpacking and getting outdoors whenever possible.
