At the forefront of academic thought leadership around sustainable, design-driven, and emerging construction work practices, Kirk Alter applies his over 50 years of Construction work experience inside and outside of the classroom. Starting out as an apprentice in the field and working his way up to owner and now a seasoned professor, Kirk provides valuable visibility and perspective into the ever-evolving Construction industry. As a celebrated speaker and panelist, he is passionate about the next generation and is committed to mentoring companies and individuals on their quest for better. Kirk currently serves as a Professor Emeritus at Purdue University. Kirk is also a Fulbright Scholar.
